Good Evening,
This week in Olton Wishing you a positive start to the week. ๐จ Crime & Safety Updates โ What You Need to Know ๐จ Theft of a Motor Vehicle reported on 11/11/25 at 20:00 from MONASTERY DRIVE, SOLIHULL a secured Mercedes was stolen, by unknown means.
โ Crime Prevention Tips: Flash Floods! Last week we saw significant Rain during the Storm.
As the nights grow longer and darker, remember to prioritise safety ๐ Walk on well-lit paths, stay visible with reflective clothing, and watch out for potential hazards ๐Enable location sharing with trusted family members and friends. Keep phones out of sight. ๐ดโ๏ธ Riding your bike in the dark? Equip it with lights and wear reflective gear ๐ก
Burglary Advice The nights are getting darker again and itโs a time of year when we typically see a rise in burglaries. Criminals often take advantage of the cover of darkness and empty homes, so itโs important to stay one step ahead and make sure your property is protected. Lock your windows and doors, even if youโre only stepping out for a short time. Use light timers to give the impression someone is home, especially if youโre out during the evening. ๐ก
Keeping Your Vehicle Safe Keep car keys away from doors and windows, particularly if you have a keyless entry vehicle. Keep valuables out of sight. Criminals can use signal-boosting devices to steal cars parked outside. A Faraday pouch is a simple way to block these signals and reduce the risk.
