What is a Ward Panel?
A Ward Panel is a community-led group where local residents meet regularly with our Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) made up of dedicated police officers and PCSOs assigned to your area. Ideally chaired by a volunteer, the panel reviews local crime trends and discusses issues like antisocial behavior, crime, or safety concerns. Together, we set priorities and action plans to address what matters most to you.
What We Aim to Achieve The Ward Panel is your chance to: Share your concerns and ideas to shape local policing priorities. Collaborate with the police to tackle community issues. Build trust and transparency through open dialogue.
Those of you who might ask why we conduct joint meetings with Canning Town North. The two wards have been working closely over the years and both have a great knowledge of the issues occurring across both. We have a strong dependable team and we all rely on each other. Both teams cover each other wards when one is not around. The MET needs reliability within its forces and both Canning Town North and South provide that for each other.
Please do join us for the Ward Panel meeting on 11/12/2025
Thank you for your time, Have a good day and stay Safe
