Anti-knife crime work in Wigan our website with details of the locations of the 8 bins (just waiting on a webpage update to add the extra 4 bins) and public bleed kits- 6 now available, plus over 30 venues with bleed kits across the borough We are encouraging our residents to safely dispose of any unwanted knives, including kitchen knives which can now be done at the 3 council recycling centres. We are partnered with Home | Let's Be Blunt to end knife crime through practical, everyday actions that can make a real difference in our homes and communities. ‘Let’s Be Blunt’ are encouraging residents to dispose of sharp tipped knives and replace with blunt ended knives. Help and support details on our web page and there is also this short video https://youtu.be/IXs5XJZXff8Stop the bleed training available to community groups, schools etc – I noted that your PCSO’s are already promoting this on your FB page.
