I have received an email from Lesley Chitty regarding the effects of spiking. Please read the email below and everyone is welcome.

It is a great event hosted by Safer Business Network and Camden Council, where they will be providing Virtual Reality headsets so that members of the public can experience the effects of spiking.

Users will experience:

Spotting vulnerability

Identifying a spiking situation

Upstander Intervention

Using Ask for Angela

Knowing how to report to police or security

And most importantly, understanding what to do if they themselves become vulnerable

Experience the effects of spiking via a virtual reality headset.

This is being hosted by Safer Business Network and Camden Council at four locations across the borough starting on

25th November at 1030 - 1330 at Lewis Cubbitt Square, N1C 4DR

25th November at 1430-1630 at SOAS, Russell Square, WC1H 0XG

9th December at 1030-1330 at Camden High Street, NW1 8NH

9th December at 1430-1630 at Princes Circus, 243 Shaftesbury Avenue, WC2H 8EH
