Crime Alert – Burglaries in Stanmore, Harrow

We are aware of recent reports of burglary in the Stanmore area of Harrow. Please remain vigilant and take steps to protect your property.

Key Information

Recent break-ins have mainly occurred from the rear of properties, with offenders gaining access through back doors or windows. In some cases, front doors were locked from the inside by offenders, making it easier for intruders to exit quickly.

Crime Prevention Advice

·  Lock all doors and windows when leaving your home, even for short periods.

·  Use double locks or deadbolts on external doors where possible.

·  Install security lighting and consider CCTV or a video doorbell.

·  Keep valuables out of sight and avoid leaving keys near doors or windows.

·  Mark your property with a UV pen and register valuables on www.immobilise.com.

·  Report suspicious activity immediately by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency.
