Dear Resident, The Star of Light Ceremony 2025 will take place on Wednesday 10th December 2025 (from 5.30pm) The Star of Light Ceremony will be held in Lyceum Square this year to enable the Crewe community to gather and remember their loved ones through songs, prayers, readings, reflection and the lighting of the Memory Candle. Please note the change of venue from Crewe Cemetery to Lyceum Square due to operational considerations. Stars can be collected from the following designated community locations from Monday 10th November and dedicated to people who have been loved and lost: - Belong Care Home (CW2 6NA)
- Broo Cafe (CW1 2BZ)
- Cheshire East Council, Municipal Buildings (CW1 2BJ)
- Crewe Cemetery (CW1 3JG)
- Crewe Library (CW1 2BB)
- Crewe Town Council (CW1 2DL)
- Mini Beans, Crewe Market Hall (CW1 2BL)
The deadline to return stars to the drop-off points is Sunday 30th November. The stars will then be collected together and displayed at locations in and around Lyceum Square. Stars will be limited to two per person. |
