Hello Resident, ✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ Vehicles seized – officers have seized a 2 vehicles that had been left untaxed and abandoned on a local road in the area. Many vehicles that are left untaxed can cause obstruction and safety concerns for residents so we continue to carry out regular checks helping to keep our roads safe for everyone. Crime prevention activity – following a recent burglary in the area, we have delivered some crime prevention packs and offering advice to residents, we are also increasing patrols to reassure the local community.Knife crime/safety input – Our School Liaison Officer and PCSOs visited a local school this week due to safety concerns, we spoke with all year groups from Year 1 to Year 6 about the dangers and consequences of knife crime. Pupils were encouraged to discuss how they can make safer choices and how to report any concerns.Weekend parking operation – A joint parking enforcement operation took place over the weekend, working in partnership with Birmingham City Council to target illegally parked vehicles, which often cause access issues for emergency services, further operations are planned to ensure roads remain safe and accessible.Housing meeting – this week, officers have met with social workers and housing enforcement from Citizen Housing and Green Square Accord to discuss ongoing community concerns, including antisocial behaviour and environmental issues. In the upcoming weeks, we will be conducting follow-up home visits to support residents and work towards long-term solutions.
