Sheppey Speed Networking Event

PC's Hewes, Honess and Savage along with Kent Police Recruitment Ambassador Zahid Hadi attended a Speed Networking Event at Islandworks Dockyard Church which was attended by Young Persons from local colleges along with a number of local businesses and employers to inspire the next generation of young people into employment. 
The young persons were divided into groups with a mentor and then went from Employer to Employer and found out about each job role and how to apply, what qualifications are needed and what each job entails. There were representatives from KFRS, Prison Service, Peel Ports and numerous others who all attended and gave information to anyone showing an interest in their company. 

The afternoon was run by the Sheppey Employment Forum who put on a fantastic event and do brilliant work locally to help people from the local area gain employment and skills to better their lives.
