Arrest of Prolific Shoplifter

Good Evening All, 

I hope you're well. 

I would like to make you aware of an arrest which was made on Monday 10th November 2025 in relation to a Prolific Shoplifter Barry DOWNES who had been targeting several stores in the WARDLE/DEARNLEY/LITTLEBOROUGH area. 

DOWNES was interviewed and charged with 13 offences and has been remanded in prison until a further court date is released.
