✅ Speed Watch Update – Wheeler Street / Grecian Street ✅

This morning, officers carried out a Speed Watch operation following community concerns about speeding in the area.

📍 Location: Wheeler Street at the junction with Grecian Street
🕖 Time: 07:00 – 08:30

Vehicles stopped: 2 (recorded speeds of 32mph and 34mph)

Drivers were spoken to and given appropriate advice.

Most vehicles observed were travelling within the speed limit – great to see!

🚨 We also seized an e-scooter. Please remember:
E-scooters are illegal to use in public places, and we operate a zero-tolerance policy in the town centre.
