Greenfield Primary visit |
||
|
Pupils from the key stage 2 age group - that's 8 to 11 years old if you are of my generation - were visited at Greenfield Primary school today by local neighbourhood officers. Todays topic was related to the retail week of action, children talked about their understanding of what theft is, the difference between theft and borrowing and what happens if they are naughty! Children were engaged for at least 5 minutes, a record if I dare say so, but their interest was reinvigorated by staff participation - thank you again for being volunteered. A heavy topic for such young people, but it is sometimes good to reinforce the ideals of right and wrong and from the excellent interactions and response from these year groups I am sure these ideas were well received.
