Partnership Working with Team London Bridge

This morning, we were pleased to present at the Team London Bridge Business Improvement District (BID), sharing an update on our local policing priorities and the work taking place across the borough.

The session provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen our partnership with the BID and hear directly from businesses about the challenges they’re facing, from retail crime to community safety concerns. Team London Bridge remains a key partner for us—supporting intelligence sharing, hosting joint problem-solving discussions and helping us better understand the day-to-day issues impacting their members.

During the presentation, we highlighted our proactive work around violence against women and girls (VAWG), business crime, and enhanced visibility in key locations. We also discussed ongoing collaborative projects, including joint operations, environmental improvements and efforts to reduce anti-social behaviour. The open discussion that followed reinforced the shared commitment between the Met and Team London Bridge to create a safer and more welcoming environment for everyone who lives, works or travels through the area.

We are grateful to the BID team for the invitation and look forward to continuing this strong partnership as we work together to deliver long-term, sustainable improvements for the community.
