Police traffic operation in North Chingford

To Larkswood residents,

On 12/11/25 Larkswood SNT officers participated in a traffic operation on various roads in North Chingford following information from residents that certain roads were being used as rat runs. Over 60 vehicles were stopped - The majority for speeding above the 20mph limit. Strong words of advice given to motorists about their driving.

One vehicle was seized and the driver prosecuted for having no insurance and two males arrested for immigration offences.
