Proactive Patrol Leads to Arrest in Acton Town Centre

Today, officers from the Town Centre Team and Southfield Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a joint patrol targeting problem hotspots. Within minutes, a group was detained in Morrisons car park. One male was arrested for multiple offences, including possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and handling stolen goods. 

He tried to make off from officers and was detained for a search. He was found in possession of 50 wraps of Heroin and Crack as well a bag full of stolen meat and a small amount of herbal cannabis.

This behaviour is hugely problematic as the groups are making the car park feel unsafe for our residents and openly use drugs, this is another example of how your reports shape our patrols and give us the information we need to improve the ward for all.
