Doorstop sellers

Good evening, noswaith dda,

Recently we have been alerted to door stop sellers in the CHERRY GROVE area of SKETTY.

Whilst we cannot confirm if the sales team were bogus, the manner in which the have intimidated residents is unacceptable.

The team have knocked doors, showing IDs as “Hello Fresh” employees, canvasing for custom, offering “free desserts for life”

This “too good to be true” offer, has made people suspicious, as well as the pressure sales technique which was persistent and 

very intimidating to one lady, who thankfully raised her concerns to us.

Tonight, I have been patrolling around the area, speaking to residents of CHERRY GROVE, offering reassurance and providing them with my contact details, as your local PCSO for SKETTY. 

We are frequently called for bogus traders attending properties.

Never engage with any unwanted traders at your door, no matter how convincing they may seem.

 It is not safe to open your door to strangers, especially now that the dark evenings are upon us.
