Sidcup High Street incident.

Good Afternoon.

Your Sidcup police team were made aware of an incident yesterday afternoon (11th November), which occurred in Sidcup High Street.

We received reports of youths firing fireworks at each other which was extremely dangerous and caused alarm and distress to many.

As part of our investigations into this incident, we have viewed multiple CCTV cameras, taken statements from those most affected, as well as making further enquiries to identify the culprit.

Today, I can confirm one male has since been arrested and taken to custody where he will face further questioning.
