Speed-Watch

Dear residents of the Bilston and East Park area,

After receiving a substantial number of replies to one of my previous messages regarding road traffic issues in the area , the Bilston Neighbourhood Police team have conducted three Speed-watch operations over a two week period.

On the first occasion we registered a good number of motorists breaking speed limits on various roads and streets.

Since then we have noticed less speeding. Whether this is down to more Police presence or down to luck, time will tell, but we plan to carry on and conduct a couple of speed-watch jobs each month, hopefully the results will continue to improve.

I'm sure some of you who replied, may may have noticed us in your street or road. Those streets we haven't managed yet, we still intend to do each one as when duties allow.

If there are any other streets you are concerned about, or the previous reported issues still continue, please let me know the problem and we'll look how we can address and try to negate the reported issue.
