Burnley Town Centre

Good afternoon everyone,

Your local police officers are out on foot patrol around Burnley town centre today — if you see us, come and say hi! 👋

This morning, officers have dealt with four breaches of the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) — two for begging and two for street drinking.

In addition, one person has been arrested for being drunk and disorderly and for failing to comply with the PSPO.

We’ll continue to patrol the town centre to help keep it a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
