Dear Resident
On Friday 7th November 2025 at approximately 8:30pm there was an incident of poaching in WARESIDE. Suspects have entered a private woodland and have taken a number of pheasants from the pen and left in an unknown direction. Police responded to the incident however Suspects had left prior to police arrival.
If you saw anything suspicious, please contact the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/106272/25. Alternatively, you can give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Tips to prevent hare coursing and poaching: Remain vigilant in rural locations and report any suspicious activity in the area. This may include 4x4 vehicles or vans parked in remote rural location at the roadside of fields. Report groups of people seen with multiple dogs walking across cropped fields. Report locations using What Three Words App (W3W). | ||
