Theft of FORD vehicles

Good afternoon Resident

We are currently seeing an increase in Theft of Motor Vehicles across the Bolton area. The majority of these thefts are taking place in the Bolton Central and Bolton North areas.

The majority of these vehicles are FORD's, with a particular rise in the theft of Transit Connect vans from public places such as streets and car parks.

Please double check that you have locked your vehicle before leaving it.

Please also consider additional protection methods such as steering wheel locks which will ensure that your vehicle cannot be driven even if it accessed.

Enquiries are currently ongoing by the Bolton North neighbourhood team to identify and arrest offenders.
