Community Garden Visit

Good Morning Manor Park,

Local officers paid a visit to Manor Park Community Garden today where we were given a very warm welcome.

Gardening is an activity well known for its beneficial impact on one's mental health.

This community garden is very impressive, affording residents the opportunity to volunteer, plant and chat.

The garden is closed during the winter months and officers gained some useful information re people gaining access.

Pictured below is one of the volunteers who also just happens to be Chair of Manor Park Ward Panel - Mr Frederic Billet - Frederic is a very active resident and a colourful/popular figure in the local community.
