Weekend Update

Rochdale Remembrance Sunday

This Sunday, 9 November, our team will be supporting Remembrance Sunday events across Rochdale. We encourage residents of Wardleworth and surrounding areas to join us in paying tribute to those who served and sacrificed.

Event Schedule:

Assembly: 10:30am outside The Flying Horse Hotel, Packer Street

Parade Departure: 10:50am

Service: 10:55am at Rochdale Cenotaph

Road Closures:
Ramsden Road and Wardle Road will be closed from 1:30pm to 4:00pm to ensure public safety during the parade there.

Officers from the Wardleworth Neighbourhood Team will be present to support the event and assist the public. We advise attendees to arrive early, dress appropriately for the weather, and follow guidance from stewards and officers.

Poppy Appeal:
Poppies are available at Number One Riverside and selected local outlets. All proceeds support British servicemen and women and their families.
