Hereβs a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall Ward from your Designated Neighbourhood Police officer PC Richard Collins
PCSOs have been into gold smith school, gold smith road to carry out reading activity to aid children with reading.
Officers have carried out reassurance patrols around the Wyrley View Estate following reports of ASB in the area multi agency visits also carried out at address that have been identified as possibly causing issues.
Patrols also carried out in the Blakenhall heath following concerns round ASB and E scooters.
Cuppa with a copper, whilst this was held at Sainsburys in reeds would this was open to all as this is the most appropriate location. This was well attended by residents of Blakenall who were able to discuss issued.
Blakenall officers assisted with the fire work display in king Georges park supply high visibility offering reassurance to people that visited. Several stop searches were carried out at the location in relation to weapons however nothing was found.
Several vehicles have also been seized in the Blakenhall are for driving offences including one that had been stolen from Wolverhampton.
Going forward into next week the Blakenhall team are hopping to address some of the issues around E scooters being used by parents to transport child to school.
