Allotment sheds broken into

Dear Resident,

There have been numerous incidents of sheds being broken into at allotment sites on the York West Outer Wards. We think the offenders are looking for petrol cans as there have been several instances of fires being deliberately started.

Please can we ask all allotment holders to be vigilant who is accessing the sites and report anything suspicious. Also if you do have petrol cans please can these be taken home with you after you’ve finished on your plot?
