Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday 9th November

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Aarien Areti, will lead an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at Sloane Square, on Sunday 9 November at 10.55am. This will be followed by a Service of Remembrance at Holy Trinity Sloane Square.

Chelsea Safer Neighbourhood Officers will be on duty and paying our respects.

My Grandfathers served during the second World War. One was in The Royal Navy on the North Atlantic Convoys, the other in the Army and was evacuated from Dunkirk in 1940.

It will be a privilege to be present on Sunday in uniform to honour them and everyone who has paid the ultimate sacrifice.
