Billy Fury Way - Arrest of a male for Possession with the intent to Supply Class A Drugs |
I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.
On TUESDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2025 officers from Kilburn Ward, based out of West Hampstead Police Station were conducting a patrol of BILLY FURY WAY, one of West Hampstead Ward's current priorities. Three individuals were subject to stop and searches under section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. One of them was found in possession of 38 wraps of suspected Class A Drugs as well as a large quantity of cash. He was subsequently arrested for Possession with the intent to Supply Class A Drugs. The male has been bailed by police whilst we conduct further enquiries however he has been given strict conditions not to attend Billy Fury Way and other locations within the ward. He has also been issued with a CPW as officers on Safer Neighbourhoods look to utilise all tools at their disposal to tackle prolific offending. Officers will continue to patrol the location as we look to address the ongoing issues around drug use, dealing and continuous ASB. We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
