Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Cranford SNT officers have been out in Cranford on mobile and foot patrols, working late shifts to tackle drug use and possession in the area. Officers have patrolled areas such as Redwood estate, Beavers estate and the subways on Windsor Road and Bath Road. This has resulted in 3 positive stop and searches all of which resulted in a quantity of cannabis being found in each of their possessions.

These individuals have been dealt with accordingly, with drugs being taken off Cranford streets.

Cranford officers are continuing to do late shifts over the next few days, to further tackle any drug issues in the area.
