Parking Issues Upper Queens Road Stonehouse Railway Station |
Police have been made aware of ongoing parking issues along Upper Queens Road Stonehouse nearby to the Railway Station.
We have received several reports of vehicles parking on the double yellow lines close to the traffic lights. This has caused disruption to the flow of the traffic and is a risk to road users. Police have issued a fixed penalty notice to a vehicle for causing an unnecessary obstruction and have made Highways & the Traffic Enforcement Team aware. They have acted on these reports and today have issued further fixed penalty notices on 3 vehicles in the area parked illegally on double yellow lines.
If you plan on using the Train Station make sure to plan your journey ahead. There are various options for parking including the Short & Long stay car park just off the High Street (short walk to station) and the Stonehouse Railway Station parking area.
