Fireworks Night in Worthing – Plan Your Visit

Worthing Council reminds residents and visitors that this year’s fireworks festivities, organised by the Worthing Lions Club and funded by the Worthing Town Centre Business Improvement District, has arrived!

The event promises a spectacular evening of fireworks, a funfair, and a variety of food and drink options across the town centre. The fireworks display will begin at 7.30pm, but with high visitor numbers expected, it’s important to plan your journey in advance.

Getting to the event:

Public transport: Consider using buses to avoid traffic and parking delays. Timetables are available here:

Road closures on Wednesday evening:

Marine Parade: Closed from 6pm to 9pm (Augusta Place to The Steyne) to ensure safe assembly for the fireworks.

High Street: Closed northbound between Steyne Gardens and Chatsworth Road from 7.30pm to 9pm to allow vehicles to exit High Street multi-storey safely after the fireworks.

Planning ahead will help you enjoy the event safely and comfortably. Whether you choose to walk, drive, or take public transport, make sure you allow extra time for your journey.
