Traffic Operations

Dear Old Kent Road ward residents,

We have received a number of reports from members of the public about mopeds and electic bikes driving dangerously and also riding on footpaths. A lot of residents have reported nearly being knocked over by electric scooters. As a result we have conducted two traffic operations in the past month and have more planned in December. 

We have seized 36 two wheeled vehicles from these past two operations and arrested 2 people. The majority were reported for having no insurance, no driving licence or both. We will continue to target vehicle crime to make our roads safer.
