Cricklewood Ward Community Update |
||
|
Dear Resident,
We wanted to take a moment to update you on some of the recent activity across Cricklewood Ward. Although our team has been heavily abstracted over the past few months, we’ve continued to be out on patrol, addressing the issues that matter most to our community.
Over the past three months, officers have made 11 arrests and carried out 25 stop and searches, many of which have led to positive outcomes. We’ve also continued to deal with a range of day-to-day matters, including anti-social behaviour (ASB) and Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) concerns.
Recently, PCSO Jonathan Freedman and PCSO Alexandra Gradinariu were on patrol along Kara Way NW2, when they encountered a shoplifter running towards Gratton Terrace. The officers quickly intervened, helping to recover the stolen goods and detain the male until additional units arrived to make the arrest.
In another incident, PC Owen and PC Kett, supported by PS Gallacher and the rest of the team, pursued and arrested a male on Pennine Drive NW2, who was found in possession of Class B drugs.
Our team remains committed to proactive patrols and visible policing across Cricklewood Ward, continuing to tackle local priorities and keep our community safe.
Finally, we encourage all residents to sign up to Met Engage - a great way to stay informed about local policing updates, events, and safety advice. Please hare the link within the local groups. If you would like to have your say on local concerns and our [policing priorities, please take a few moments to complete the short survey below.
Thank you for your ongoing support and for working with us to make Cricklewood a safer place for everyone.
