On Thursday 30th October Junction Safer Neighbourhood Officer PC Ben Simpson 1193CN was on his own patrolling along Holloway Road when a member of public pointed out two individuals suspected of committing a theft from a local shop. PC Simpson has quickly detained and searched the two individuals, finding items he suspected were stolen. PC Simpson was then assisted by officers from Street Duties; PC Bryan Turner 1433 CN, PC Jen Coldham 1208 CN, PC Michela Gaitskella 1313CN, PC Italo Menzani 1323CN and PC Jess Payne 1163CN. The Street Duties officers arrested both individuals for theft related offences and conveyed them to custody, with further enquiries leading to one of the individuals later being further arrested for burglary offences. This result showcases excellent team work between Junction SNT and Street Duties, who were quick to come and support PC Simpson and make the arrests. Well done all! |
