Rear Access Burglaries

Dear Residents, 

Hertfordshire Police have recently responded to reports of attempted burglaries on Newlands Avenue, Radlett. It has been identified that offenders have accessed the area across the adjoining fields and have achieved access by pulling down or damaging neighbouring fences to access gardens, before garden hoping to targeted addresses. 

Please be on the look out for new damage to rear fences and consider additional security features, such as spikes, lighting and CCTV at your rear boundaries to assist in deterring and identifying offenders. 

Hertfordshire Police will be conducting targeted patrols across the area but request you remain vigilant and any sightings or suspicious activity, request you contact the police via 101 or 999.
