Approval of your schemes

Good morning to you all

Thank you for registering your group/scheme with Our Watch.  As a result of this, I am making contact to offer any help or advice and to “approve” your group.

One of the first things I do is pass on contact details of new groups to the Local Policing Team to make them aware of new schemes.  I am also able to send you their contact information.  If you would prefer not to have your details passed over, please let me know.

If you could let me know how many people/households are in your group, I can then send you “No Cold Calling” and Neighbourhood Watch stickers to pass on to your neighbours.

Once I receive this information, I can “approve” your group and send the stickers out to you.

As you can see, I have attached the Ethics & Standard Guidelines that has been created by Our Watch to ensure everyone is treated fairly.

I have also attached a document that has been created by members of the Merseyside Neighbourhood Watch Association to give brief crime prevention advice.  If you wish, I could send copies to you via the post also.
