Business burglaries

Morning Sidcup business

Please be aware that we have had multiple reports of burglaries occurring to a number of our businesses on the Sidcup ward. These have occurred over the past week.

Branches affected so far are SARTO LOUNGE X 2 , TAILOR'S CHALK PUBLIC HOUSE & MOGHUL INDIAN RESTRUANT.

On each occasion suspects have managed to gain access to staffing areas and steal personal belongings owned by the staff, such as rucksacks/handbags.

As a result, suspects have used victims bank cards using the contactless payment method before the card is blocked. Upon viewing cctv it would appear that the suspects are not the same person. We are in possession of some very good cctv and investigations are ongoing.

Please can I ask all businesses to secure their staffing areas if possible, and secure any personal belongings in these areas.
