Motorbike Seized!

This evening Beat Officers have stopped a motorcycle travelling at speed along Trinity Road, Ashford. It was heading towards the A251 before it was brought to a stop.

The result was that it was recovered due to not having been taxed since October 2024 and had been out of MOT since March 2025.

The rider, who doesn't believe that he should have to pay tax, was issued with a traffic offence report for the lack of MOT and will be referred to the DVLA regarding unpaid tax. He will now also have the additional cost of releasing his vehicle from the recovery yard, so should have just paid tax in the first place as it definitely would have worked out cheaper!
