Hi Nick,
Doh! Forgot to add the link to the guidance document!
Dear Resident As you may be aware, the Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch Association successfully secured Lottery funding to help us on a new project, The funding is greatly appreciated and over the last few months we have been progressing our plans. Central to the project is scaling up the visibility of Neighbourhood Watch across the county and especially the support and assistance we can provide to our approved and registered Coordinators. To help you we are now able to offer, dependant on your needs, street signs, membership leaflets and door/window glass stickers, all FREE of charge to you and your scheme.
Street Signage If you own existing street signs, please consider the following; (ii) If the signs are damaged, they should be replaced with new with pre-drilled rigid Di-bond signs. Note: NW schemes have responsibility to maintain or replace existing signage and must ensure the same post and position is used. Public Liability insurance is in place to provide relevant cover for all recognised schemes and Neighbourhood Watch volunteers carrying out these roles. More information is available here.
New sign requirements ![]()
Signs requiring fixing to new locations are subject to an application for licensing approval, in accordance with our guidance document. PLEASE NOTE: Funds only allow us to supply up to TWO free street-signs per scheme.
Membership leaflets
The leaflet has reference to the new Police Suffolk Connected service. Members of your scheme who sign up themselves via ourwatch.org.uk are automatically registered to receive these new Police messages. It is a shared database between the Police and Neighbourhood Watch and as such has a massive benefit, reinforcing our work together. View the leaflet here
Branded door/window glass stickers
We have a limited quantity of round 90mm wide stickers which use the Neighbourhood Watch "today" logo.
Please do consider your requirements to boost the visibility and effectiveness of your Neighbourhood Watch scheme and let us know what you require. Requests should be sent to enquiries@suffolknwa.co.uk
Kind regards SNWA | ||
