Local Priorities ASB - Anti Social Behaviour Message

This is a local update regarding ASB - Anti Social Behaviour, which people around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We've recently received reports of young people causing anti-social behaviour and attempting to gain entry into the former Leisure Centre building. Officers have attended the area, and we're working with partners to prevent further incidents.

We'd like to remind parents and carers to speak with their children about the dangers and consequences of entering or damaging derelict buildings. These sites can be extremely unsafe due to unstable floors, swimming pool, wiring, and other hazards.

Please help keep our community safe by:
- Knowing where your children are and who they're with.
- Reminding them that entering or damaging private property can lead to police involvement.
- Encouraging them to make positive use of local parks, youth clubs, and community spaces instead.
- Reporting any concerns or suspicious activity to us via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Together, we can keep our community safe and prevent anyone from getting hurt.
