Good morning, Our team continues to work hard in your local areas to prevent and detect crime and anti-social behaviour. Please continue to report any suspicious or criminal incidents to West Midlands Police. We rely on your help to tell us what is happening in your area, so we can focus our work there. We hope you safely enjoyed Halloween and will enjoy bonfire night. There are some great local events planned around Solihull. You can find some further information about keeping yourselves safe here: Due to the evenings becoming darker earlier, criminals can target your property more easily. Please make sure you secure your homes and vehicles. We recently found eight unlocked vehicles in one road. We may be able to offer you some free security products, such as light timers, locks, alarms and sensors, as well as further safety advice, at our beat surgery events. You can find some further information and guides here: https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/protect-home-crime/ You can find our list of beat surgeries here (they are all free to attend and no registration required): As retail stores become busier for events such as Black Friday and early Christmas shopping, please remember to be vigilant against theft and distraction. You can find some more information about this here: We are always thankful to our volunteers who support us with Community Speedwatch and Streetwatch schemes.
