What we've been up to this month: Our Community Support Officers visited John Keats Primary School to introduce themselves to the children across all year groups and presented lessons on staying safe out and about, theft prevention, hate crime, and online safety. The Community Support Officers also attended the Tustin Estate's Personal Safety Evening to provide advice and support regarding reporting crimes, domestic abuse, and burglary prevention. We used this opportunity to gather more sign ups to Met Engage which is a priority currently.
Our PCs continue to patrol our anti-social behaviour hotspots both day and night which recently led to six successful stop and searches in Brimmington Park and Northfield House.
The ward had a successful vehicle operation on Ilderton Road whereby 18 mopeds were seized, 4 e-bikes were seized, and 2 arrests for immigration offences.
As a team we are preparing for a long few weeks ahead as we approach both Halloween and Bonfire Night. We hope you're keeping safe and I look forward to hearing from you on Met Engage or at the next ward panel meeting!
Our ward priorities: These priorities are set during the ward panel meeting. Colegrove Road & Willowbrook Road - Vandalism and drug dealing.Northfield House & Peckham Park Road - Antisocial behaviour and drug use.Avondale Estate & Astley Estate - Antisocial behaviour and drug use. The next meeting will be held online using Teams on 26/11/2025 at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!
