Increase in theft of car parts

Dear Resident,

There has been an increase in the theft of vehicle parts from vehicles parked in Greenfield, Chapel Road seeing the biggest increase. Parts such as bumpers, lights and wing mirrors are being taken.

West Yorkshire are also experiencing a sudden increase in this crime type. 

If you have had car parts stolen and not informed the Police, please get in touch via 101 or the online ‘report it tool’ on the GMP website.

It is important that we have as much data as possible in order to build up an intelligence picture, this can then be used for target hardening and deterring/solving crime.
