Appeal for witnesses following garage forecourt attack

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Rugeley.

The incident happened at the Esso Garage on Western Spring Road at around 4am on Sunday 19 October.

Two men were on the garage forecourt when one of them was attacked by a group of five or six other men.

The second man intervened to try to defuse the situation and was knocked unconscious.

He went to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
