As the clocks go back and evenings get darker, your Valley Ward Police Team is encouraging everyone to take extra care and look out for one another.

🏡 Secure Your Home:

🔐 Always lock doors, windows, and garden gates – even when you're inside

💡 Use light timers to give the impression someone’s home

🚪 Do a quick security check before bed or leaving the house

📲 If you see anything unusual, report it via 101 or online

👥 Neighbourhood Awareness:

🤝 Stay in touch with neighbours – share updates and keep each other informed

📷 Think about installing a video doorbell or CCTV

🧓 Keep an eye out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours

🚗 Report unfamiliar vehicles or suspicious behaviour early
