Foot patrol (27/10/2025)

Rick visited all of Rush Green today, with residential burglary on the agenda after yesterday's clock change brought the evenings forward an hour (9.03 miles).

With the last gasp of sunlight, Rick covered 1.32 miles of the Eastbrookend Country Park and Footpath 18 (p) via the Eastminster Riding School (5.08pm), before emerging in Harveys Lane, Rush Green.

From there it was around Great Cullings (5.24pm), Eastbrook Drive, Fels Farm Mews (5.39pm) and Valentines Way, followed by all of Parish Fields (5.54pm, p).

Both sides of Dagenham Road were visited next, including Lincoln Avenue (6.38pm) Rose Glen, Footpath 155 (6.55pm), Philip Avenue (7.08pm, p) and Croxford Way (7.19pm).

It was then back past the college and around the front lakes and via the May and Baker Social Club.
