Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Resident 

​Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team.

❓ What's been happening ❓

• Drugs Warrant. Following community intelligence, officers executed a warrant at an address in Hall Green. Over 180 cannabis plants were seized and one offender was arrested. Enquiries continue as we act on the information you provide to disrupt drug-related activity.
• Joint Traffic Operation. On Wednesday 22nd October, officers from the Hall Green and Springfield teams conducted a joint traffic operation targeting dangerous driving. We issued a number of tickets for various offences including speeding, driving with no licence, no insurance, and failing to wear a seatbelt.
• School Parking Patrols. Our PCSOs have been conducting parking patrols outside local schools, including Yorkmead Primary School, following concerns raised by parents. We will continue to patrol at key times to ensure the safety of children and road users.

​Following our recent events, we have now booked the following drop-in sessions at Highfield Hall, 129 Highfield Rd, B28 0HS where you can come and speak with your local officers.

• ​Monday 09 March 2026, between 6:00pm - 8:00pm
