Planned UKIP Demonstration - Saturday 25th October

This message is to advice local residents of potential disruption in the area around Brompton Road and Knightsbridge on Saturday 25th October, as a result of a planned anti-immigration demonstration by UKIP as part of a so-called “Mass-Deportations Tour”.

The march is scheduled to form up at 1.00pm outside the London Oratory Church on Brompton Road SW7, and will set off at 1.45pm. The planned route will be from Brompton Road to Marble Arch/Speaker's Corner, via Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane, and is due to arrive at Marble Arch around 4.00pm, where a rally will take place.

The start point of the event has been moved to South Kensington from Whitechapel, where it was initially intended to form up, and will be policed from the start. There may be disruption to traffic and businesses along the proposed route depending on the numbers of demonstrators in attendance.
