White Ribbon Day - Candlelight Vigil - 21st November 2025

Join us as we stand together to honour and remember.

On Friday 21st November (5:30-6:30pm) we will gather outside Vale of Glamorgan Council Civic Offices for a Candlelight Vigil to stand in solidarity with women impacted by gender-based violence.

As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and White Ribbon Day, we will come together to remember those taken by male violence - and to call for a future free from abuse.

Last year, Vale Domestic Abuse Services supported over 1200 women experiencing male violence.  Each year, the need grows.  Your presence shows survivors they are not alone and that this community will never stop fighting for change.  

Please bring a battery-powered candle and wrap up warm for this outdoor vigil. 

Together, we can be the light that refuses to go out.
