A brief summary of some of the activities Northolt West End SNT and other Met Police teams have been engaged with this week; Stop and searches have led to several discoveries of drug possession. In most cases these are a first offence with a small quantity of Cannabis seized. In such circumstances a Community Resolution is usually issued, at the Officers discretion. This is an out of court settlement which does not lead to a prosecution, or a criminal record, However, personal details have to be provided, if an individual is discovered in possession a second time, more serious sanctions can be applied.An arrest for drug possession led to a further search of the suspects property, in which a substantial amount of drugs were found. 2 further suspects have subsequently also been arrested for possession with intent to supply.A suspect, who as a history of offences in the local area, has been arrested and remanded in custody for Theft.A vacant property, which had been taken over by squatters, was secured in a joint visit with Ealing Council officers. A large zombie style knife was seized at the scene.Please remember to report anything which looks suspicious, however insignificant it may seem at the time, small pieces of intelligence can help us to ‘join the dots’ and identify suspects involved in crime.
