✅ Crime Prevention Tips: 💬This week we are here to offer crime prevention advice in relation to deterring Burglars. Burglars will use a variety of ways to avoid being noticed. They don’t want to be seen or heard by a neighbour or passer-by because they will feel exposed and identifiable. Ways to keep your property safe: keep it visible. Lower fences at the front are preferable to high fences as they allow for a clear view over the top and don’t provide cover for anyone wishing to hide. Gravel driveways and paths will make sure you hear anyone approach. Other ways are installing CCTV, even though there are limitations, it can still be a valuable tool. Lighting and alarms are also useful to deterring Burglars.
