If you noticed an increased presence around Prince Regent Lane in the early hours this morning, it was due to an excellent stop and search whereby 4 males were found in possession of items Police suspect was to be used to steal vehicles locally.

All four males were arrested for going equipped to steal.

I am looking forward to see how much of an impact this has on the thefts of vehicles in Beckton and Custom House over the coming weeks. Stay tuned and I'll keep you posted.
